Did you notice the “3” in my company’s logo – Hot Rod’s? It may seem like a small detail but three is a powerful number with my family.
The three is remembrance of my Mom’s favorite number. She loved that number because she had three kids – Darlene, Harvey and me, Rodney. I remember not having much, but mom always bought things in threes. If she bought something for one of us, she bought the same thing for all of us. When Darlene lived out of state, Mom still bought gifts in three and would mail Darlene’s gift to her.
We were Mom’s life and we were all she ever thought about. So when I had my logo made I purposefully paid tribute to my Mom by making the apostrophe the number 3. It’s the little things that make the difference and did Mom make a difference in my life.
